Description
On behalf of our client a Global Portfolio Investment Company based in Limassol, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Legal Advisor
Responsibilities include, Contract Negotiation and Management, Regulatory and Compliance obligations, Fund structuring and Asset Management solutions, and contribution to the management of an international structure including, Company Secretarial and Board organisation responsibilities The successful candidate, will communicate with investors and senior management and liaise with the regulatory bodies in Europe and internationally.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be reliable, discrete and proactive. They will have
A degree in Law and possibly a postgraduate qualification in another business related discipline and an MBA will be considered an advantage
Combination of Greek and UK qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the legal field in a similar role
Professional legal training with an international law firm
Knowledge of tax law
Experience in legal aspects of the Asset Management Industry
Ability to manage the development of the legal and procedural framework of the companies
Experience of dealing with and co-ordinating advice from international professional service providers
Problem solving, decision-making and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Diplomacy, independence and confidence; ability to communicate with senior management
Project management and project participation in commercial and investment projects
Extensive use of databases, knowledge of search engines on the Internet and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Great attention to detail, time-management and listening skills
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language. Knowledge of French or German will be an advantage
